This walk starts at Polly Joke, or Porth Joke beach near the town of Newquay.

On the north side of the beach, head through the kissing gate and up the narrow path on the other side.

This heads up to West Pentire, famous for its poppies in the spring. Soon the path rounds towards Crantock beach, a popular surfing haven.
