Back in February of 2019 I dragged Scott down to Kynance Cove for our anniversary. Neither of us had ever been before, and after seeing everyone’s wonderful photos on Instagram and Facebook I desperately wanted to visit. Unfortunately the weather was terrible, but we persisted and still had a great day.
This is a very pebbly beach as it remains sheltered and low tides reveal smooth white sand and access to little caves.
I’ve since been back to Kynance with one of my wonderful colleagues, and was able to enjoy this beautiful cove in some sunlight.
The beach is free to access all year round. The tide dose come in very high and does cut off the far side of the beach, so take care.
There is a pay and display car park run by the National Trust.
